The purpose of this research is to explore the relationships between the brightly belief of habitual domains and the aptitude of teacher education students, and to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching practicum courses for students. The study tools included the Brightly Belief Maturity Questionnaire and the Potential Test Battery for Teachers Education Students composed of Situational Judgement Test for Teachers, Work Value Test of Teachers, and Personality Traits Test of Teachers. Data from 22 university students have been analyzed. The Brightly Belief Maturity Questionnaire was administered after the end of the teaching practicum courses, and the Potential Test Battery for Teachers Education Students was conducted twice before and after the teaching practicum courses to observe the stability of the test, and the difference scores on the Situation Judgment test for Teachers was used to observe the effectiveness of teaching internship. The research results showed that the mission paradise among the brightly beliefs is significantly related to the conscientiousness of personality traits, while the correlations among the other beliefs and the other potential test were not significant. There is no significant correlation between the various brightly beliefs and the difference scores on the Situational Judgment Test for Teachers before and after the teaching practicum courses. The research explores possible reasons and makes recommendations for future practice and research. |
