This paper discusses the role of the seven “bright attitudes” in the habitual domains and how these seven bright attitudes trigger the intrinsic motivation. Firstly, this paper points out the importance of the intrinsic motivation in human behavior. Secondly, this paper states how the intrinsic motivation could be triggered. Thirdly, this paper explains the meaning of the “bright attitudes” in the habitual domain and how the “bright attitudes” trigger the intrinsic motivation and its deep meaning. Appealing to the intrinsic motivation can stimulate self-realization and potential due to autonomy, mastery (persistence to and enthusiasm for long-term goals, a sense of belonging and value), purpose (correct goals and good visions). The seven bright faith attitudes of the habitual domains— Buddha incarnation, full responsibility master, everything helps growth, clear life goal, full knowledge and action, mission paradise, living at the present, being grateful and giving— can fulfill the requirement of autonomy, mastery, and purpose so that they can help stimulate the intrinsic motivation. The seven “bright attitudes” are the meaning of life. When they occupy our attention, they can transform our attitude from darkness to brightness, and thus trigger the intrinsic motivation. As “the attitude determines what state you will be at”, and “where there is faith, there is power”, the seven bright attitudes are the engine that activates the intrinsic motivation. |
