As a global trend of special education, the inclusive education has seen well-established mechanism in many developed countries. However, the development of the inclusive education in China is far from optimistic, in particular the pre-school education. So how to promote the inclusive education in kindergarten and offer appropriate education to the special needs children has become a pressing issue for the preschool education community. Starting with a general picture of the inclusive education development and status quo at home and abroad, the paper elaborates the significance of preschool inclusive education, and, based on the practices and experiences of Guangzhou No.2 Kindergarten, proposes the building of a support mechanism for the inclusive education in kindergarten from various aspects including kindergarten, academic community, parents and non-government resources. The paper intends to offer some thoughts and suggestions for promoting the healthy development of special needs children in kindergarten. |
