In this study, four children with down syndrome were selected for early intervention in language development by using conversational language games. According to the children's current ability and their needs, the research designed the conversational language games from three aspects:Clarity of pronunciation, frequency of proactive communication, and vocabulary. The game process created suitable language environment for kids’conversation, and communicated with kids, tracked kids ’language development and changes to explore the effects of conversational language games for down syndrome children’s early language development. The results showthe conversational games can promote children's pronunciation, vocabulary and initiative. |
