This study aimed to analyze students’ cognitive attitude toward a newly created head acupuncture point assisted training simulator. The participants were the junior college students who selected the curriculum for the first time, and design attributes such as fidelity, system quality, information quality, and result demostrability were used as determinants to analyze users’ acceptance level, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use toward the simulator. A total of 201 valid questionnaires were collected, the results demonstrated that the students had good cognitions toward the design attributes; in addition, the model fi t was found to be good by using structural equation modeling, indicating that the applying the training simulator in related curriculum instruction had positive influences on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, and brought positive effects toward learning attitude and willingness to use which could increase the learning satisfaction. Moreover, the results showed that system quality played a critical role on perceived usefulness, and fidelity, information quality and result demostrability had positive influences on perceived ease of use. Based upon teaching process with students and empirical basis, the head acupuncture point assisted training simulator with human-machine feedback interface was fully proved to be an effective tool for students in this study. |
