The aim of this paper is to examine how Manhua activities in Taiwan society developed its own order, and the meaning of its forming and transition. Throughhistorical comparative analysis, this research finds that, the order of Manhua activities in Taiwan society changes from heteronomy to autonomy. From the rising (1895) to 1990s, Manhua activities had the sources of validity depended on political and economical purposes; afterwards, the identification of Manhua creativity had gained its importance, and became a new trend of order. In this way, Manhua activities developed its subjectivity in Taiwan society, and opened up a humanistic order which takes Manhua as a vocation. |
