In this study, a porous titanium dioxide electrode was prepared usingan anodic oxidation in 0.1 M and 0.01 M NH4F electrolyte and calcined atdifferent temperatures (300°C, 350°C, 400°C, 450°C, 500°C, 550°C and600°C). The results indicated that the TiO2 electrode was made with the0.1 M NH4F by anodization (20 V) and calcination at 400°C, which had thehighest photoelectrocatalytic degradation efficiency of 79.16% and morecomplete structure of titania nanotubes observed by scanning electronmicroscopy. The XRD and Raman analysis results show that the intensityof anatase diffraction appears gradually when calcined temperature increasedfrom 350°C to 500°C. In addition, the photoelectrocatalytic degradationefficiency of TiO2 electrode increases with anodization followedby calcination due to a higher photocurrent density. |
