This research aims at: (1) understanding the evaluation of The University Multiple Entrance Program that the current senior-high-school students in Hualien area believe in, (2) analyzing the difference of opinions on The University Multiple Entrance Program that senior-high-school students in Hualien area from different background variations hold, and (3) exploring the factor that affects the implementation of this program as well as the attitude that senior-high-school students have toward this program. The research methods of this study is questionnaire survey. The subjects are students, including those in the academic track and those in the vocational track, in the third grade of senior high schools in Hualien area. Based on the result, conclusions have been made as following:1. Effective evaluation indicators is more approved when The University Multiple Entrance Program is evaluated.2. There are distinctions among the evaluation outcomes of The University Multiple Entrance Program with regard to the different background variations such as Hualien senior-high-school students’ genders, birthplaces, school sponsors, school types, number of graduating classes at school, and parents’ education levels.3. The factor that senior-high-school students care about most in the implementation process of The University Multiple Entrance Program is the “external surroundings.” Next factor is the related “executive,” and “the content of the program” is the least cared factor. 4. Senior-high-school students: (1) are more likely to adopt the individual application program of the entrance to the university; (2) encounter the most difficulties in the individual application program; (3) generally hold positive attitude toward The Policy of University Multiple Entrance Program. (4) Over 80 percent of Senior-high-school students in Hualien area feel that entering the university is stressful. |
