Given the recent promotion on the merger of daycare centers and kindergartens in the field of pre-school education, teachers not only play an essential part but also carry the torch for the successful organizational change in this regard. Speaking of which, how teachers fare their own job satisfaction remains a topic that needs further attention. The purpose of this study then investigated the correlation of organizational change in pre-school institutions and teachers’ job satisfaction. Participants were teachers recruited from both public and private kindergartens in inchu,Taiwan. The number of valid questionnaires used for data analysis was 311. The findings were as follows. First, there was a significant difference of the types of institutions and salary range on individual perception on organizational change. Secondly, there was a significantly positive and linear correlation between organizational change and teachers’ job satisfaction.At the end, the researcher provided some concrete suggestions on how to implement organizational change in pre-school institutions in the near future and simultaneously enhance teachers’ job satisfaction. |
