This article examines infection control practices for scabies in long-term care facilities, including identification of clinical manifestations, management of suspected cases, initiation of infection control measures, correct use of scabicidal medications, contact tracing and cluster management for confirmed cases, communicable disease reporting procedures, criteria for case closure, and the process for resuming routine care services. The aim is to enhance the practical competence of longterm care staff in the prevention and control of scabies infections.
