Since its establishment in 2004, E-Da Hospital has been committed to enhancing medical quality and patient safety. Following the Institute for Healthcare Improvement framework, we developed a comprehensive quality management system through a dedicated management unit, crossdepartment collaboration, training programs, and digital management. The hospital’s Patient Safety and Quality Committee and its seven task forces are well-structured, overseeing operations and implementing safety reporting and rounds, cultural assessments, hospital-wide audits, and team resource management to reinforce a strong culture of patient safety. In recent years, Power BI dashboards have been introduced within E-Da Hospital to improve visualization and efficiency, facilitating the continuous promotion of medical quality and patient safety. Amid various challenges, we will continue to leverage technology, innovative management strategies, and team collaboration to ensure ongoing improvements in healthcare quality and patient safety.
