National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin Branch is committed to safeguarding the health of residents in central Taiwan and is dedicated to providing high-quality medical care, fostering a friendly workplace, fulfilling its social responsibility, and pursuing sustainable development. Each department has appointed quality control representatives who participate in relevant programs. The hospital has also implemented a mortality review system to analyze preventable deaths, which successfully reduced the rates of both preventable trauma mortality and in-hospital cardiac arrest. To enhance regional collaboration and patient safety, the hospital has launched several innovative projects in partnership with other institutions. In addition, the hospital has played a key role in integrating parts of the emergency medical system in Yunlin County. In the future, National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin Branch intends to adopt transparency as its core management principle and to advance in the six strategic directions of patient-centered care, smart healthcare, innovation, resilience, sustainability, and services. The ultimate goal is to become the most trusted university hospital among the public.
