This study explored the effectiveness of computer-assisted technology in enhancing fire risk management in hospitals;the study focused on the hemodialysis units of Taoyuan Hospital and its Xinwu Branch. Computer simulations were performed to evaluate the effectiveness of current fire response strategies and to propose optimizations in fire compartment design, evacuation routes, and equipment placement.
The results indicated that digital war-gaming simulations not only improve emergency response plans but also create a safer environment for both medical staff and patients. In the future, with advancements in artificial intelligence and big data, this technology is expected to be extended to other high-risk medical units, such as intensive care units and operating rooms, to further enhance hospital safety management.
