The porpuse of this study is to explore the positive behavioral support of three tier prevention model for special education students. The research team took a southern senior vocational high school to explore the process and implementation of the model for fourteen special education students and their tutors. Relevant datas were collected and analyzed by qualtitative data of documents and records. Findings were suggested as follows: 1. The effect of tier one prevention is significant for at-risk students and the number of students who referral to tier two is reduced. 2. The collaboration of regular and special education teachers were increased and student’s advantages can be seen more often. 3. The team members that included administration cooperated more positively in this model and the effectiveness were improved. Based on the findings, researchers made some recommendations for teacher, special education workers and future researchers. |
