Preschool class management is the key to teaching quality. Based on this, this study adopts problem-based learning (PBL) and mindfulness to integrate into the preschool class management curriculum, with the aim of improving students' learning motivation, focus, problem-solving skills and emotional regulation abilities, so as to assist students in implementing positive class management in the future. Thereby improving the quality of preschool class management. The research subjects were 68 students of the Department of Early Childhood Education in the fourth grade of the daytime section of a technical university in the northern region. The researcher used a mixed qualitative and quantitative research method to collect and analyzing research data such as student self-assessment questionnaires, teacher teaching evaluations, subject test scores, course study sheets, student achievement reports, interviews. The research results found that after students participated in the preschool class management curriculum that integrated PBL and mindfulness, their self-assessed learning motivation, problem-solving ability, and emotion regulation ability all improved significantly. However, it has limited effect on improving concentration. Students affirmed the teachers’teaching performance in the preschool childhood classroom management curriculum, with an average score of 4.78 on the teaching evaluation. They agreed that integrating PBL and mindfulness into the preschool childhood class management curriculum brings them positive emotions and group cohesion, promoted them to exchange different ideas among them, and allows them to learn strategies to solve class problems. And their average test score for this course is 81.37. PBL and mindfulness are integrated into the class management curriculum, which is helpful for students. |
