Consciousness Medicine: Integrating Bioceramic Resonance, Photoluminescence, and Visual/ Auditory Thematic Stimulation to Enhance Body, Emotion, Perception, and Awareness |
| 英文摘要 |
This single-arm, pre-post pilot study evaluated whether integrating Bioceramic Resonance and Photoluminescence (BR&PLB) with a Visual/Auditory Thematic Stimulation System (VASS) could reduce self-reported pain and anxiety and enhance altered-states-of-consciousness scores. Twenty-five participants (18–80 years) with minor musculoskeletal discomfort, emotional distress, or interest in self-awareness underwent one 60-minute BR&PLB session with VASS (screen or VR). The Numerical Rating Scale (NRS), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), and States of Consciousness Questionnaire (SCQ) were administered pre- and post-intervention. Paired t-tests analyzed score changes. Post-intervention, significant reductions were observed in NRS (4.87±1.21 to 2.33±0.98, p<0.05) and BAI (5.92±1.44 to 3.33±1.21, p<0.05) scores. SCQ scores significantly increased (48.20±10.15 to 67.20±12.08, p<0.05), indicating enhanced altered-state experiences. Effect sizes (Cohen's dᵢ) were large for all outcomes (NRS: 1.02; BAI: 0.97; SCQ: 1.20). This pilot study found that integrating BR&PLB with VASS was associated with reduced pain and anxiety and higher altered-states-of-consciousness scores. These preliminary findings suggest potential as a non-invasive complementary approach, warranting confirmation in larger randomized controlled trials. |
