Drivenbytheinitiativesofneuroscientists,Chilehasincorporatedneuralrightsintoitsnationallegalsystemthroughconstitutionalamendments.ThepioneeringlegislationofneuralrightsinChilehasdeeplegalandtechnologicalfoundations,tracingbacktoaseriesofcyberneticsprojectsandconstitutionalreformsinLatinAmericaduringthelastcentury.ExaminingthetraditionofcyberneticsinChileanlawhelpstounderstandthesubstitutionoftechnologicalethicsforlegalphilosophy,andclarifiesthestatusofexogenouslawinChileanhistory,thuselucidatingthelegitimacyofthecurrenttechnolegallegislation.Theintertwinedhistoryoflegalcybernetics,exogenouslaw,andtheCybersynprojectrevealsthecomplexsymbioticrelationshipbetweentechnologyandlawincontemporaryChile.AsasociallaboratoryandabattlefieldbetweentheU.S.andSovietUnion,Chile'suniquelegalexperiencescancontributetoourunderstandingofthejuridificationofcyberneticsindifferentcountriesandregions,therebysupplementingtheprehistoryofneuralrightslegislation. |
