Wang Gi is the “Tsi” poet of Middle King Dynasty , and there are three characteristics on his Tsi works “Zhou Xyuen collections'': (1), The main Tsi tunes on his works are Xiao-ling and Zhoung-diao, which express tender and courteous voice feelings. (2). The most rhymes tally with “Tsi Lin Zheng Yuen” nineteen bu, but there are some few rhymes don't. It apparently expresses King Dynasty phonetics phenomenon. (3). Abundant and various rhetorical skills—question、imitation、exaggeration、borrowing、couplet、metaphor、palindrome、using allusion from classics and so on. There are three themes on the contents: (1). The elegant tastes on listening tunes and music. (2). The understanding life is just like a dream and honor is vanity, by which arises the aspiration of living in recluse. (3). The sorrowing of leaving home and take up government employment. The main style on Wang Gi's Tsi is not only plain, clear, tender, and fine but also heroic and powerful. He is a various styles T'si poet. |
