Hsin Ch'i-chi was a prestigious poet in Sung Dynasty. Though he impressed people mainly with his sublime style, the fact is that there are still other styles existing in his works. Therefore, this essay aims to observe the styles of tz'u poetry by Hsin Ch'i-chi from an integrative viewpoint. It also divides Hsin's works into four levels according to Roman lngarden's literary perspective. Then the influential factors in these four levels will, one by one, be pointed out and discussed. Hopefully, the styles of Hsin Ch'i-chi's tz'u poetry could be presented thoroughly in this way. |
