This article is meant to delve further into Shuin Lin-fu and Sher Hwai's martial-political achievements in the history of Jin's restoration to power among the dukedoms. Both marshals were geniuses who belonged to the same generation, shared a homogeneous background, and finally accomplished likewise feats. On consecutive decades they polished the badge of Jin's marshalcy, helping attune Jin's administration to the eras most urgent needs. They also contributed alike to saving Jin's fame and glory under the direst circumstances. The historians have generally come to a consensus that they best represented Jin's elite in the hegemonic regime. Just like a coin's obverse and reverse citing Jin's feats, they were mutually one another's double. However, even Tweedledee and Tweedledum differs in the slightest ways, and so did Shuin and Sher. These differences invite me to decipher the Derridean differance from within their sameness. |
