The purpose of this study is to discuss the correlation of learning motivation, school-choosing strategy and life development of international students in Taiwan. A questionnaire by convenient sampling was used to collect data of which 234 valid samples were collected and valid rate was 56.39% from the international students that still studying at universities in Kaohsiung and Pingtung areas. Different statistical methods were used to analyze the data by using SPSS 22.0 version. According to the results, international students concern self growing and future development most. Those who have stronger study motivation do pay more attention on school-choosing, especially on learning resources. Besides, Chinese student from Mainland China have lower learning motivation and life satisfaction which deserve more attention from Taiwanese higher education institutions. Based on the findings, suggestions were given by this research for Taiwanese higher education institutions. |
