The Development of the Indian State

We shall begin with a concise review of the earlier history of India, followed by an examination of the rule of the Muslims. We then make efforts to examine the practices of European colonialism and the British Raj. Further, we shall analyze the evolution of the independence movement, partition. Finally, we shall conclude with the partition of India in 1947.
