The purposes of this study are as below: first, to explore elementary and junior high school teachers' needs for in-service training curriculum in Hsinchu County, and second, to analyze the difference of the needs of in-service training curriculum. The study employs survey method and the subjects are 874 elementary and junior high school teachers in Hsinchu County. The instrument is “Needs of In- service Training Curriculum for Hsinchu County Teachers Inventory.” Data is analyzed by means and F test. The main findings of this study are as follows: (1) Teachers' needs for in-service training curriculum are at upper middle levels. (2) There are differences exist among teacher variables with regard to the needs of in-service training curriculum. According to the research findings, this author will propose several suggestions for the implementation of in- service training curriculum and further study respectively. |
