The purpose of this study is to examine the process and effectiveness of the international education curriculum in rural junior high school. This study adopts action research method, the participants are 66 students in rural junior high school, and international news events are referred in the curriculum planning in this study. Besides, a total of seven different topics are included in one semester as a basis with data-analysis, observation, interview, questionnaire, and so forth. Later on, some key concepts are listed, such as 1) explore how to enhance the international perspectives of junior high school students in rural areas, 2) design a suitable international education curriculum for junior high school students in rural areas, 3) discuss the learning effects of participating students in this research. Consequently, the findings are shown as follows: 1) The international education curriculum is the most direct and effective way to upgrade the rural students' international vision. 2) Non-integrated topic courses are effective strategy. 3) The international education curriculum will help students improve the global vision and international development. Based on above results, some suggestions are provided below: 1) International education courses can be designed through school-based courses. 2) Teachers have the ability to enhance international education courses. 3) International education courses can be accompanied by more relevant activities. |
