This article considers the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic as the alternative ''wars'' in the 21st century. The alternative wars originated in the concepts of epidemic prevention and treatment between various countries and human beings. Therefore, this article intends to interpret the connotation and types of alternative wars caused by COVID-19 from the aspects of controversy about the origin of COVID-19, the impact of culture on epidemic prevention measures, and the political struggles between countries caused by fighting epidemic policies. Furthermore, this article highlights how these alternative wars are regarded as a kind of ''precursor of the Third World War'' and should also be the subject of scholars' research. |
