This study conducts a systematic literature review of campus property management research published in Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI)–indexed journals. A total of 29 articles are analyzed, including empirical, methodological, and review-type studies. The results show that most literature focuses on the operations and maintenance phase of buildings and investigates energy efficiency, managerial practices, and occupant satisfaction as key dependent variables. Technological innovations in property management are often implemented through digital tools, and research cases are predominantly based in developed countries. While methodological diversity exists, many studies remain exploratory or conceptual in nature. This review fills a gap in existing technical and engineering-oriented literature by offering a social science perspective on campus property management. The findings provide both researchers and higher education administrators with insights into validated influencing factors and emerging strategies for sustainable campus development. |
