In the divination, the class and instructional relationship between gods and people, and the purpose of oracle predictions, are theoretically contradictory compared to the post-modern consultation emphasizing the relationship of equal cooperation and the“not-knowing position”interview process. For this reason, when Counseling and divination are integrated, the issues of“God Existence”and“Oracle Destiny”need to be clarified and set. After analyzing and researching examples of traditional divination, this article finds that although divination is an oracle, the focus is on the interpretation of people’s will. Once the result of divination is returned to human interpretation from the good or bad of the oracle, then divination as a medium of Counseling is feasible; furthermore, if the issue of divine existence in divination is suspended in the attitude of“Epoché”. Counselor does not perform actions or rituals to summon gods when using divination. In this way, the object of divination will no longer be Gods and Counselors, but“I-Ching”. At the same time, the operation process of divination and the interpretation of the results are completely delivered to the client, which will enable the client to fully participate in the interview process. The narrative of the divination becomes an equal dialogue between the client and the“I-Ching”text, and the two are the subjects of each other. It can be seen that I-Ching, as a medium of Counseling, is available. As for the abuse of the authority of oracles by traditional fortune tellers. With the above clarification and setting, coupled with the professional training of Counselor and the norms of workplace ethics, it should not be easy to produce. As a result, I-Ching Counseling will become the process that counselors will create and provide a narrative space with (healing) interviews for clients by divination. |
