Human resource managers consistently expect to have the ability to create outstanding individual job performance. Several theoretical reviews about relevant terms are analyzed and these three aspects: proactive personality, self-efficacy and affective commitment are often considered to be related to individual job performance. However, the relationships between these factors are still indefinite. Therefore, the priority purpose of this research is to find out the relevance between proactive personality and self-efficacy on individual job performance with and without moderate positive effect of affective commitment. Also, it is intended to explore fundamental concepts to human resource managers so that they can contribute the organization’s policies and regulations well to manage their employees which shed light on greater job performance and commitment. More than three hundred participants who are living and working in Taipei and New Taipei city (Taiwan) are the sample size. The measures of the study are already tested for validity and reliability. In this study, they are also examined and found to be valid and reliable. The method of data collection used was the questionnaire to include a large sample. |
