圖書館的跨界徵集與典藏──以國家圖書館與北港朝天宮合作案為例

Interdisciplinary Collection and Archiving in Libraries: A Case Study of the Collaboration Between the National Central Library and Beigang Chaotian Temple

本文旨在介紹國家圖書館與北港朝天宮於2024年所進行的文獻數位化合作案具體內容與意義。國家圖書館作為保存臺灣文化資源的重要機構，與擁有豐富宗教文物的北港朝天宮合作，將諸多重要珍貴文獻進行數位化，並透過「臺灣記憶」系統進行典藏及推廣。這些文獻展示了臺灣廟宇在地方社會中所扮演的多重角色，內容涵蓋宗教、經濟、社會等層面，為探索北港地區歷史、信仰生活、社會互動等提供了多樣化的資料。藉由本次合作案，不僅展現了宗教機構與國家機構在文化保存上的協同效益，更將為我國地方文化的永續發展及數位典藏帶來重要示範。

This paper presents the 2024 collaboration between the National Central Library (NCL) and Beigang Chaotian Temple on a document digitization project. By integrating valuable religious artifacts into the Taiwan Memory system, this initiative preserves and promotes historical records that reflect the multifaceted role of temples in Taiwan’s society. The project provides essential resources for studying Beigang’s history, religious life, and social interactions while demonstrating the synergy between religious and national institutions in cultural preservation. It also serves as a model for the sustainable development of local heritage and digital archiving in Taiwan.
