儒學現代化的再思考：對〈拉普蘭儒學宣言〉的回應

Reconsidering the Modernization Arguments of Contemporary Neo-Confucianism: A Response to the“Lapland Manifesto of Confucianism”

〈拉普蘭儒學宣言〉是北歐芬蘭與瑞典的漢學家在二〇二一年發表的意見，在這份宣言中，他們表達了對中國儒學現代化，以及儒學與民主之關係的看法。本文認為這份宣言是當代儒學研究重要的文獻之一，故將它與一九五八年港臺灣新儒家所作的宣言，以及大陸新儒家學者對政治儒學的看法進行比較，從而指出〈拉普蘭儒學宣言〉對大陸新儒家的反對意見。本文除了說明〈拉普蘭儒學宣言〉在儒學研究上的貢獻之外，也指出它反超越性的立場並不符合儒學的發展，以及它在論述儒家與個人主義之關聯上的不足之處。

The“Lapland Manifesto of Confucianism”is a perspective presented by Finnish and Swedish sinologists in 2021. In this manifesto, they express their views on the modernization of Chinese Confucianism and the relationship between Confucianism and democracy. This article considers the manifesto to be one of the important documents in contemporary Confucian studies. Therefore, it compares this manifesto with the declarations made by Neo-Confucians in Hong Kong and Taiwan in 1958, as well as the views of Mainland Neo-Confucian scholars on political Confucianism, thereby pointing out the opposition of the“Lapland Manifesto of Confucianism”to the views of Mainland Neo-Confucians. In addition to explaining the contributions of the“Lapland Manifesto of Confucianism,”this article also points out that its anti-transcendentalism stance does not align with the development of Confucianism and highlights its shortcomings in discussing the relationship between Confucianism and individualism.
