This article aims to analyze the changes, characteristics, and problems of Japan’s higher education internationalization policy after COVID-19. First, it describes the development context of Japan's higher education internationalization policy through literature and document analysis, and explores the changes in Japan's higher education internationalization policy before and after the epidemic. Secondly, it discusses the connotations, characteristics, and key policies of Japan's post-epidemic internationalization of higher education. Issues such as expanding the global capacity of Japanese university education, strengthening international student exchanges, and supporting projects that create social impact through university internationalization highlight how the internationalization of Japanese higher education can contribute to the progress of Japanese society and higher education. Finally, it presents conclusions and suggestions to provide a reference for higher education internationalization policies in Taiwan. |
