This article presents the project experiences of the Kaohsiung Public Library in integrating arts and educational expertise into its operations, utilizing innovation to develop and implement a more abundant and diverse array of library services. The project is classified into five categories:“Library that Supports Picture books Creation,"“Library that Offers Learning through Exhibitions,"“Library that Advocates for Cultural/Reading Equality,''“Library that Offers Diverse Reading Materials,"and“Library that Integrates Brand Management and as a Community´s Living Room."This article explores how the fields of curation, arts, and education can be extended to transform the library into a platform for cultural and creative exchange, thereby providing a wider range of services and promoting social progress as well as the enhancement of humanistic literacy. |
