The study aims to focus on the connotation of Finnish teacher education programs through a literature review and analysis. By exploring the features of Finnish teacher education programs, including lifelong education, multiple paths, and teaching support networks, this study examines the cultural heritage of Finnish teacher training, and teacher education program. The study takes Taiwan's local context into account. It is suggested that diversity and lifelong learning that are in line with international education trends, and can be used as a reference for teacher education program: 1. strengthen lifelong education for teacher education program and plan the competencies that school teachers at different stages of career development should possess; 2. promote diversified paths for teacher education programs, increase the flexibility for college students to take teacher education courses, and provide broader planning opportunities for teacher education programs; 3. promote the connection of the teaching support network, emphasizing classroom communication and social emotional learning practice to deepen the curriculum of teaching practicum. |
