After deletion and revision, four dimensions were developed: altruistic and dedication, awareness and display, sense of meaning, passion for career. It is a six-point scale with 20 questions. The second stage is the reliability and validity test of the formal scale. 338 college students were participated in the formal scale test . The reliability of the four subscales ranged from .81 to .88, and the reliability of the overall scale was .94. Therefore, it shows that the scale has good reliability. Each subscale and the overall scale are positively correlated with career self-efficacy and career decidedness, indicating that this scale has good calibration-related validity. Although this scale has not constructed the most suitable theoretical model, its validity is still within an acceptable range, which shows that this scale has good construct validity. This study also found that those who have taken teacher cultivation have a higher degree of career calling than those who have not, especially in terms of altruistic and dedication. To sum up, researcher puts forward the conclusion and suggestions based on the results. |
