「原因」和「理由」是日中同形語。使用LARP at SCU語料庫來調查後,發現台灣的日語學習者在應該使用「理由」時,卻傾向使用「原因」。本研究的目的在於找出日文和中文裡「原因」和「理由」之用法的相似性與差異性。 調查結果如下:(1)在使用頻率上日文較常使用「理由」而中文較常使用〈原因〉。(2)就日文而言,「原因」的名詞共現負面詞語較多,且多與公共事務相關;而「理由」的名詞共現與個人的事情相關。2語的動詞共現皆顯示為意志動詞。(3)就中文而言,〈原因〉和〈理由〉為相似詞,在名詞共現沒有顯著的傾向。而動詞共現上〈原因〉和〈理由〉相同的詞語多,可推測其使用方法也較為類似。 從2語共現詞的特徵上來看,也顯示出日文和中文之間的差異。學習者很難理解兩者之間的區別,因此導致產生誤用。在教授台灣的日語學習者「原因」和「理由」時,具體地解釋日文和中文的相似性與差異性是必要的。 ''Cause'' and Reason'' are homographs in Japanese and Chinese. Investigating at LARP of SCU Corpus, it is found that Taiwanese learners of Japanese tend to use ''cause'', when ''reason'' is more appropriate. This study is aimed to identify the similarities and differences of using ''Cause'' and ''Reason'' in two languages. Research findings are as follows : (1) In terms of frequency, ''Reason'' is used more in Japanese, while ''Cause'' is more in Chinese. (2) In Japanese, ''Cause'' co-occurs more with negative terms usually related to public affairs. Meanwhile,“Reason”is more related to individual affairs. Both verbs represent volitional. (3) In Chinese, ''Cause'' and ''Reason'' are synonyms, with nouns not co-occurring significantly, but with high similarity verbally, where a similar usage is assumed. The differences between two languages are also highlighted while analyzing the features of co-occurrence for two words. Learners might find it challenging to tell, and then misuse. In conclusion, it is essential to specifically explain the similarities and differences to Taiwanese learners, while teaching ''Cause'' and ''Reason'' in Japanese. |
