This research is based on the study of Master Hsing Yun's writings and practical activities on the ''Buddha's Birthday Festival''. The choice of subject is based on the fact that Master Hsing Yun is an important advocate and practitioner of contemporary ''Humanistic Buddhism'' and has been spreading Buddhism in Taiwan since the 1950s., there are numerous writings and activities, which can be used as an important target for exploring the impact of ''Humanistic Buddhism'' on belief culture and social customs. As an important Buddhist festival, ''Buddha's Birthday'' focuses on the concept of ''human world'' and has the significant significance of respecting the living ''teacher of humans and gods'' Sakyamuni Buddha. It also has unique value for discussion. The focus of inquiry includes observation and discussion at the levels of ideological discussion, literary and artistic performance, and activity practice. Therefore, the specific research method will mainly be based on the ''Collected Works of Master Hsing Yun'' search system, focusing on Master Hsing Yun's writings on ''Buddha's Birthday'' published since the 1950s (including monographs, poems, miscellaneous notes and articles mentioned in articles) Search, organize and analyze to understand its main ideas and propositions, and refer to various Buddhist publications and commemorative books when necessary to sort out Master Hsing Yun's period from Yilan's propagation period to the founding of Fo Guang Shan, and even the advancement of ''Humanistic Buddhism'' After the five continents of the world, there are various ways to commemorate the ''Buddha's Birthday''.
