The university freshmen camp is one of the links in building students’learning life circle. In the overall activity planning, current students often play an important role in guidance and collaboration. The purpose of this study is to understand the students who play the role of team assistants in the camp, their understanding of their own work and their learning experience from the overall activity process. The subjects of this study were students who served as assistants to the Moral Life Camp Team of Shi-Chien University from 2017 to 2020. A total of 30 questionnaires were hand out, of which 23 were valid questionnaires. The response rate of valid questionnaires was about 77%. This study used the“Research Questionnaire on Cognition and Learning Experience of Team Assistant Work in the Shi-Chien University Moral Life Camp”as the research tool. It used the questionnaire survey method to collect relevant information, cooperates with the teacher’s observation, used the triangulation method, also the discussion and analysis center on role cognition and Kolb’s learning experience theory. The overall research findings include: 1. Team assistant students have a full understanding of their team roles and can engage in work situations and complete tasks. 2. Most students have experience participating in other camps before serving as assistants for this team. The overall research findings include: 1. Students will use training, relevant observations, and their own camp experience to understand the work they are responsible for. 3. Students will use observation, inquiry, and mutual assistance to strengthen their abilities. 4. Most students feel that their problem-solving abilities have improved the most. The inspiration of this study is: the main goal of the freshman camp is to anchor the freshmen. However, if the current students who serve as team assistants have a clear understanding of their roles and tasks, they will have a stronger motivation for their own learning, and the accumulation of relevant experience will also provide great help to their problem-solving abilities and is a profound and effective way of learning. |
