This qualitative study aims to understand the process of emotional expression and adjustment for indigenous children. This study adopts the action research to explore the impact of emotional education curriculum. The subjects of the study were five children from the Atayal. The emotional course lasted 6 months and was taught a total of 12 times. Data collection and analysis methods are observation, teaching reflection, interviews, and documentation. The findings are as follow. (1) The implementation of indigenous children's emotional education curriculum is inappropriate ways of coping with emotional behavior. (2)The introduction of Emotional Theater into the emotional education curriculum has a positive impact on children's concentration, emotional understanding and expression in the curriculum. (3) Indigenous children's emotional regulation has changed when negative emotions appear. Finally, the researchers put forward reflections and suggestions on emotional education for indigenous children. |
