With mobile competitive games booming, the number of female gamers is growing at the same time. To recent observations, seldom peripheral gaming products can operate games designed for female gamers. Therefore, the researchers try to find the requirements that female gamers would prefer, and can bring directions of development and design for related industries. The qualitative interview would investigate the participants to reach the desirable and viable product design purposes. This research is based on design thinking tools, persona, and empathy maps, to design the interview’s question structure. Eventually, the researchers discovered that a mobile game operator for competitive games should increase the fluency of the game experience, the convenience of pressing mute, and the simplified product appearance and features, but its features for females with specific needs still require further research in the future. |
