In fact, narcissism is considered to be of the popular psychological essence of figures in Eileen Chang's novel, among them, Dong Cheng Bao (Red Rose and White Rose) is believed to be the most vivid and prominent one. Dong is characterized as being so arrogant and he reckons himself as so overbearing than anything else, while he is believed to have such organic disease with syndromes of wishing thinking and violence. All of them are taken as items of focus elaborated by Freud about narcissism. Besides, mirror and window are the rhetoric strategy used by Eileen Chang to describe narcissism to co-install virtual image and reality. Through the alienation and initiation of virtual image, it has, in direct term, pointed out the psychological features of schizophrenia of narcissus figure.
