This research aims to explore the effectiveness of AI robot intervention in teaching on the language understanding and expression abilities of children with speech delay. The research adopts a single subject withdrawal design, the subjects of this study is a child with speech delay of 6 years and 4 months’boy. The research was conducted for 2 months and adopted self-made observation record of robot teaching which was used to collect and analyze the language understanding and expression ability of the subjects. The research results are as follows: (1) there was a slight improvement in the pre- and post-test comparison results of Kebbi robot intervention in teaching. (2) Kebbi Robot intervenes in teaching indirectly promotes children with developmental delays to understand and express their concentration in the learning process. (3) the five target behaviors of this study have directly or indirectly achieved varying degrees of improvement and progress. (4) the main caregiver is satisfied with the effectiveness of Kebbi robot interventional teaching. |
