Museums are important places for informal education. They convey educational purposes through displays (including permanent exhibitions or special exhibitions) , and traveling special exhibitions are a common promotion and education method to transfer culture and knowledge to the wider community. Exhibitions paired with educational activities can activate the display. As for how to coordinate the planning of educational activities with the characteristics of traveling special exhibitions, making educational activities a powerful tool to highlight the characteristics of touring exhibitions and providing an attractive and educational experience is a major test of event operation. This article takes the ''Diving Deep: An Exploration of Taiwan’s Underwater Heritage'' traveling exhibition held by the National Science and Technology Museum in 2023 as an example to record and share the experience of designing the '' Underwater archeology jigsaw puzzle '' educational activity for this traveling exhibition.
