This article uses a case study method to explore the source of pressure caused by Teacher Wang in the leadership of the Excellence Primary School, and its corresponding strategies. The results of the study found that the leadership periods of Mr. Wang in the case can be divided into the period of being a teacher, the period of being an administrative work, the period of developing the school community, and the period of being a advisory group member. The sources of teacher leadership pressure are personality pressure, time pressure, family pressure; and the strategies and methods for coping with pressure are making good use of the support network, changing the external environment, and changing the internal environment. It is not easy to cultivate a teacher leader in elementary schools. Therefore, based on the analysis of teacher Wang’s case, it is recommended that elementary school administrators make four suggestions when cultivating teacher leaders, advocating flying geese paradigm, encouraging teacher teamwork, encouraging and supporting each other, building a share platform, making good use of cloud knowledge management, reduce communication and administrative burden; a friendly campus atmosphere, focusing on teachers' physical and mental coordination, and the development of school affairs should be elastic; establishing a reward system to strengthen teachers' leadership motivation, and sustainable operation and development. It is a reference for elementary school teacher leaders and school administration, hoping that teacher leaders of campus should have sustainable development. |
