圖書館隨著世界脈動不斷成長，突發而來的疫情更加速了轉變，重塑各類型圖書館服務模式、讀者契合度以及社會連結。國立成功大學圖書館秉持著學校「藏行顯光、成就共好」的良善價值，共同為培育新一代具備跨領域能力莘莘學子、實踐大學社會責任、聯合國永續發展目標(SDGs) 而努力；圖書館結合所可觸及的人、事、地、物、心與力，打破COVID-19 所帶來限制，不斷投入創新能量於推動學術教育責任、支持學思發展、培育閱讀素養、飽滿心靈幸福等服務上，將學校、讀者、館員、圖書館、在地與世界的各層面智慧緊密結合。成大圖書館隨著世界脈動、人們思想意識改變，展現自由發展的彈性，以【新整合】—【新創造】—【新連結】為精神，從心境、想法、行動、環境與實務面來跨越嶄新的尋常、打造實體與虛擬共融的圖書館，開創新穎教育和學術交流模式，實現無邊界圖書館服務的夢想，擁有屬於自我人生的知識大山。

Libraries continue to grow with the pulse of the world, and the sudden outbreak of the epidemic has accelerated the transformations that are reshaping the service models, patron fit, and social connections of all types of libraries. The National Cheng Kung University Library adheres to the university’s good values of “Achieve Securely, Prosper Mutually” and works towards nurturing a new generation of students with cross-disciplinary skills, thereby fulfilling the university’s social responsibility and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations. The Library combines people, events, places, things, minds and efforts within its reach, breaking the limits brought forth by COVID-19, and continuously investing innovative energy in services that promote academic and educational responsibility, support the development of learning and thinking, cultivate reading literacy, and enrich spiritual well-being, bringing together the wisdom of schools, readers, librarians, libraries, and the local and global communities. With the pulse of the world and the changes in people’s ideology, the National Cheng Kung University Library shows its flexibility in developing freely. With the spirit of “RE-coordinate”, “ RE-create ”, and“ Re-connect ”, the Library aims to transcend the new ordinary from the state of mind, idea, action, environment, and practice, and create a library that integrates physical and virtual, creating a new model of education and academic exchange, realizing the dream of borderless library services, and having a mountain of knowledge that belongs to oneself.
