This article explains the meaning of 'inclusive education' and its implications for teacher education. The term 'inclusive education' was originally mainly used in the field of special education. In the 21st century, the meaning of 'inclusive education' in the international mainstream discourse was changed. The transformation of the concept of inclusive education means that the educational object presents diversity nature, and the education system must also have the capacity to treat multiple students. This trend leads to the policy, system, content, and profession development of teacher education must be adjusted. This article attempts to point out the social significance of inclusive education, and further explain the enlightenment and challenges for teacher education. |
