The R&D of E-textbooks in Japanese Education

In the highly informative society, the devices such as smartphones and the tablet computers are invented to cope with the new mode of life for getting the access to the information anytime. In the past, the so-called“education media”was formed for learning via computers. However, as the smartphones and the tablet computers are rapidly developed, the ideal ecology for students’learning and teachers’offer of class will be invented for the emergence of rather evolutionary forms—and the access for the e-books has become rather popular. Thus, the paper attempts to explore the relevant problems in the R&D in Japanese education. Also, today’s e-textbook in foreign education, and onwards, will be discussed for its future development.
