The Altered Body Image in Adolescent with Major Burn Trauma: Care on Campus

本文是探討青少年時期之遭遇嚴重燒傷時，倖存於嚴重燒傷後常見之護理問題為「身體心像改變」，接著要面臨身、心、靈、社會的衝擊及漫長艱辛的復健歷程。因此，本文回顧燒傷對青少年的衝擊、身體心像改變、燒傷的預後歷程及資源，期望能喚起照護嚴重燒傷青少年身體心像的重視，提供個案及家庭可供使用的醫療或資源，使該族群能順利回歸學校或社會。

The article explored the suffer of adolescent with major burn trauma. The altered body image is one of the most serious health problems in adolescent with major burn trauma. In changes in body appearance, adolescents not only suffer from the physical, psychological, spiritual and social impacts of their injury but also experience long and difficult rehabilitation and reorganization in healing process. This paper reviews the impact of burns on adolescent, altered body image and related resources in healing process. We are hoping to arouse attention to nursing care of adoelscent with major burn, provide patients and families available resources, and make them successfully return to the school or society.
