The food service hygiene rating system was implemented by Taiwan Food and Drug Administration with the collaboration of local health bureaus since 2010. Up to 2020, the passing percentage was 84.7% (33,556/39,601). The number of food service businesses passing the system is the highest in New Taipei City (5,092), followed by Taipei City (3,991) and Hualien County (3,629). Food service hygiene rating system encourages dealers to better manage food hygiene and thus improve food service hygiene quality. |
