In order to evaluate the effect of the counseling for egg products manufacturers over the past five years, we analyzed the inspection results of the food businesses that have been counseled or not, to understand whether counseling service is useful for industry's self-management ability, and to review items that can be improved. Using Chi-Square statistic in research, the results showed that the food businesses receiving counseling had a significantly higher compliant rate than those who didn't. We analyzed in further details the industry's performance of the personnel, operation sites, sanitation management of facilities and quality assurance system to meet the Regulations on Good Hygiene Practice for Food (GHP). The results indicated that, regardless of counseling, the non-compliance of ''quality assurance system'' and ''sanitation management of facilities'' were the top two defects. Therefore, to prevent pest invasions, to clean the site and the environment of food businesses, to keep items off the ground, and to implement management measures for food additives are the top four priorities to guide the industry to follow in the future. In addition, the following tips can be employed to implement counseling or edit teaching materials in the future: enhancing perceptual features, learning three times or showing the similar condition to enhance memory. We hope the above strategies could play the value of counseling. |
