During childhood, everyone must have come acrossanimation, comics, and games in books, television, oron the Internet. They are just like our dearest friends thatare indispensable in our life. Japanese anime is popularall over the world; not only does it attract children andteenagers, but also many adults are crazy about it. Onceconsidered by some people to be a mere child's play,animated manga has become a popular product for allages. Just like American manga adapted into movies haveattracted fans of all ages, there are even many subculturesarising from anime and manga, such as the Jounin andOtaku. Therefore, the huge business opportunities hiddentherein are absolutely not to be underestimated.Withthe development of the Internet and the convenience ofreading, more and more manga from different countrieswill be introduced; and the main consumer age group willbe raised from children and teenagers in the past to theyoung and middle-aged group. This study used literatureanalysis to compile the factors of reading comics, andfurther analyzed the preference for reading comics usingquestionnaires to find out the key factors of readingcomics in order to predict the structure of consumers'preference for reading comics. The results of the studyrevealed that 'sensory design of comics' was the factorwith higher preference, 'comic artist' was the second,'comic place' was the third, and 'comic theme' was thelowest. |
